He may have started out as just a kid from Brooklyn, but Steve Rogers’ life turned out to be anything but ordinary. In fact, it’s the more-than-worthy focus of a musical production debuting on the Hyperion Stage at Disney California Adventure Park this summer.
Rogers: The Musical is a fictional Broadway production inspired by the first Captain America’s life, seen in a nearly five-minute segment on Disney+ series Hawkeye from Marvel Studios. Its arrival at Disneyland Resort will mark the first time it has appeared beyond the screen.
The one-act version of the show-stopping musical will be available for a limited time, with more details to be shared in the future. Disney Parks today shared a brief teaser of the upcoming production.

In Hawkeye, the musical premiered in 2024 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City. It featured a show-stopping number called “Save the City,” based on the Battle of New York that takes place in The Avengers. Songwriting team Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman co-wrote the lyrics, with Shaiman producing the actual song recording.
Be sure to stop by Disney California Adventure Park to catch Rogers: The Musical this summer.
